Planning and creating special programs for overseas VIPs to enjoy sake of the highest quality among special company in the cellar where "the dragon slumbers"
The Garyu building and the Garyu cellar visited in this program are usually closed to the public as sacred places where the finest sake is matured (Garyu means "slumbering dragon").
The sake served will be Junmai Daiginjo Genshu Muni, which represents the absolute pinnacle of Kokuryu sake. Muni is shipped in limited quantities every few years, most recently in 2022, with just over 2,000 bottles shipped, and before that, in 2018, with only 2,000 bottles shipped. This rare gem is almost impossible to obtain, and retails for more than 300,000 yen per bottle; however, it will be specially provided for this tour.
Visitors will be guided by a sake stylist and others at the Kokuryu sake brewery to deepen their understanding of sake culture, history, taste, etc., before moving onto other content.
The tasting of Muni and the marriage of Kokuryu's famous sake with a special French menu in the Garyu building, usually closed to the public and in which eating and drinking are not permitted, will be a truly special experience that simply cannot be had at ordinary sake breweries.
The 100-kilometer-long trail running from the Tateyama Mountain Range to Kamikochi in the Northern Alps is named the Tateyama Long Trail. Tours can be selected and offered from one-day tours for beginners to long trail courses for more advanced participants. A "Tour de Tateyama" tour course has also been set up for inbound beginners to casually enjoy a one-day trip around the Tateyama Mountain Range.
This area belongs to the Chubu Sangaku National Park and contains numerous interesting features. For example: five of Japan's seven glaciers; Shomyo Falls, which has the highest drop in Japan; Tateyama Caldera, one of the top 100 geological features of Japan; the Tateyama faith, which is famous for the Tateyama Mandala. Furthermore, there is an introduction of the courses from the top 100 mountains of Japan; favorable weather conditions; environmental conservation efforts; and it is the habitat of the rock ptarmigan, a nationally protected species.
There are also many mountain lodges along the Tateyama Long Trail, making it possible to enjoy the hike at your own pace. The use of private rooms, accompanying interpreter guides, audio guides, and exclusive guide maps found at mountain lodges make the trip less costly for hikers as well as improving the overall experience for visitors from overseas.
Inujima, one site of the Setouchi Triennale art festival, is the only inhabited island of Okayama City in Okayama Prefecture. Although it is a small island with a population of less than 40, it is also a source of contemporary art, with the "Inujima Seirensho Art Museum" and the "Art House Project" being held there. This tour will include a session with world-renowned architect Kazuyo Sejima. Visitors can appreciate this space where nature, architecture, and art are intertwined, taking home an unforgettable experience that is only possible on this island. The plant workshop at the "Inujima Life Garden" will provide an opportunity to think about how we can live among nature. You can escape from your day-to-day life and live in the moment in this relaxed atmosphere, including a viewing of the overwhelmingly popular Teshima Art Museum.
Food also stands in the spotlight for this event, because the island is surrounded by the richness of the Setouchi Inland Sea in all directions. There will be a food event with Mr. Rua Soda, a creative chef who makes the most of local ingredients. Enjoy spending three days and two nights on the island, where the experience of visiting the various works will remain in your memory, and the things you create with your own hands will help improve the island's environment, making you want to visit again and again.

[Meet The Masters Original Program "Kohiru"]
A prologue to a special culinary experience at the beginning of your journey.

will be used as a stage for this exquisite cuisine, inviting guests to an unknown but profound dining experience.
The vessels and dishes of the Kohiru meal will serve as an index that unfolds vividly in the subsequent tours that will follow.
